Ciarra has replaced high energy consumption equipment and upgraded product lines to higher levels of energy efficiency to effectively reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 10%. This is equivalent to the emissions from a car driving 1,200 miles per month. 

At Ciarra, we understand the importance of sustainable packaging. Now, 85% of our packages are biodegradable or can be recycled, and we are working towards using 100% recyclable packaging materials.

We strive to minimize our environmental impact through our SusGreenable mission. By upgrading products to better fit our customers' needs, we reduce unnecessary material and packaging waste. From carefully sourced recycled raw materials to re-modifying up-cyclable, recyclable, and FSC-certified packaging, we are careful at every step of the way. In 2022, Ciarra reduced packaging materials by 25%, ultimately saving the equivalent of 10,000 trees. 

At Ciarra, we understand the global energy shortage and we strive to fulfill our SusGreenable mission by continuously improving our product design and efficiency. Our upgraded products have reduced annual energy consumption by over 70%, with 39 out of 46 cooker hoods now rated A or higher for energy efficiency. Choosing higher energy-rated products not only reduces energy consumption but can also lead to lower utility bills.

We are also proud to offer induction cooktops, which are more efficient and eco-friendly than gas or electric cooktops. Induction cooktops use significantly less energy and are about three times more efficient than gas cooktops. They are also safer, even for children, and produce less indoor VOC and CO2 emissions by fire.
